IIT Bombay hosted a two-member delegation from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, from 12–14 October 2026 as part of the Staff Exchange Program. The delegation comprised Mrs. Nor Farhana Binti Abu Bakar, Assistant Registrar, Marketing and Recruitment Department, and Ms. Nurul Artika Binti Mohd Samsuri, Assistant Science Officer, Faculty of Engineering.

The visit included discussions with Prof. Sudarshan Kumar, Dean (International Relations), and interactions with the International Relations team. The delegates visited key administrative offices, including the Academic Office and Alumni and Corporate Relations Office. They also interacted with the Students’ Council, which provided an overview of student facilities, activities, and major campus events. 

Additionally, visits to the Centre for Sophisticated Instruments and Facilities (CSIF), the Department of Chemistry, and the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering offered insights into IIT Bombay’s technical facilities and research infrastructure. 

The program concluded with a Mumbai city and cultural tour. The visit provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, professional exchange, and strengthening institutional ties between IIT Bombay and Universiti Malaya.
