FRENCH COMMUNICATION COURSE (Academic year 2018-2019):

The French Communication Course is divided into Two Modules::

Module One: – 50 hours
Module Two: – 50 hours
Total duration of the course is 100 hrs.

Duration per Module:

• Module Two : Spring Semester (25 classes) – from 7th January 2019 – 11th April 2019

Batch timings:

Classes will be held twice a week for 2 hours a day.

Module Two:
• Batch 1 : 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Monday & Thursday)
• Batch 2 : 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Monday & Thursday)

The classes are expected to be held on the following dates in Module 2:

January (8): 7,10,14,17,21,24,28,31
February (6): 4,7,11,14,18,21
March (7): 4,7,11,14,18,25,28
April (4): 1,4,8,11

Dates excluded:
22nd – 28th February: Mid semester exams
21st March: Holi

General Guidelines applicable to all:

Attendance is compulsory. The percentage of attendance will be mentioned on the certificate.

NOTE for students: Minimum attendance of 80% is mandatory for claiming refund of the deposit collected at the time of fees collection. Refunds will be made, based on 80% attendance, at the end of the two modules for those who attend both modules, or at the end of 1st module for those not attending module 2. The student should intimate the Office of Dean-IR if s/he wants to discontinue after the 1st Module. The request for deregistration and refund of deposit will be permitted only upto 31st January 2019. Any request received after this date will not be entertained.

Tests: Tests will be conducted in every module. Attendance for all the tests is compulsory. A minimum of 50% is required in the tests for issuance of certificates.


French Advanced Batch : :

The Advanced French course is divided into Two Modules :
Module One :- 50 hours
Module Two :- 50 hours
So the total duration of the course is 100 hrs.

There are two Advanced batches:- 
Advanced 1: will concentrate on DELF A2 level
Advanced 2: will concentrate on B1 level

Module Two: 
Advanced 1: Spring Semester (25 classes) – from 8th January – 9th April 2019
Advanced 2: Spring Semester (25 classes) – from 8th January – 9th April 2019

Batch timings:
Advanced batch 1 & 2 will be held twice a week for 2 hours each.

Module Two :
Advanced 1 : Tuesday & Friday: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Advanced 2 : Tuesday & Friday: 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The classes are expected to be held on the following dates in Module 2:

February (6) : 1,5,8,12,15,19
March (9) : 1,5,8,12,15,19,22,26,29
April (3) : 2,5,9
